Pharmaceutical Chemistry

The goal of the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry is to provide undergraduate students with a deeper comprehension of a range of chemistry courses, including General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Analysis and Modern Advanced Instrumentation Analysis. To acquire information and cultivate an interest in the field of drug design and development, they receive training in a variety of theory and practical courses pertaining to both pure and applied chemistry. The department is equipped with the necessary infrastructure essential for smooth undergraduate teaching. Also, it has facilities to support research activities.
The central instrumentation room is established with advanced instruments such as HPLC, UV visible spectrophotometers, Melting point apparatus, Flame Photometer, Fluorimeter, nepheloturbidometer, Electrophoresis etc.
